Some residency applications require birth or family records. Requirements differ by country, application and receiving office; a certificate is obtained only for the confirmed purpose and accepted format.

You sign the Engagement Agreement first and then pay the agreed initial amount. SHERYLUX8 opens the case only after confirming receipt. We confirm the opening date and case-specific estimate in writing; government and other external processing times are not guaranteed.
Work Commencement occurs only after you have signed the Engagement Agreement, the required initial payment has been received and confirmed, SHERYLUX8 has formally opened the case, and SHERYLUX8 or an assigned provider first performs a substantive task within the agreed service scope. Preliminary enquiries, initial assessment, general correspondence and preparation of a quotation alone do not constitute Work Commencement.
Tell us your deadline before accepting the quotation. Any feasible priority coordination and its fee are agreed in writing. LexBridge8 cannot guarantee expedited government processing or issuance.

If a birth record cannot be located, we first check jurisdiction, record details and the search period. An NABC may be relevant to the specified search; it is not a universal prerequisite or a birth certificate. NABC: Price on consultation.
Delayed registration is separate from copy retrieval or NABC. As of 23 September 2026, the 2023 framework for delays exceeding one year uses the District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate or an Executive Magistrate authorized by the District Magistrate.
From 1 October 2026, the 2026 amendment distinguishes delays exceeding one year but within two years (the specified District/Sub-Divisional/authorized Executive Magistrate route) from delays exceeding two years (an order of a Judicial Magistrate of the first class). Verification, prescribed fees and local implementation apply. Confirm the route for the actual application date and any transitional treatment before accepting the case.

Many preparation and coordination steps can be managed remotely. Before opening your case, we confirm the jurisdiction, record availability, permitted representation and any personal application, attendance or verification requirements. An authorization letter or Power of Attorney does not override the issuing authority’s rules. Delivery options are confirmed for your destination.
Acceptance depends on the application category, receiving country and institution. Confirm whether it needs a registrar-issued copy, a recent issue, translation or apostille. LexBridge8 can coordinate the agreed document route; the receiving institution makes the acceptance decision.
For eligible standard retrieval cases, 2–6 weeks may be an indicative estimate after formal case opening. Actual timing depends on the document, jurisdiction, existing records, authority workload and any additional checks or corrections. Complex cases need a separate assessment. We provide milestone updates; government issuance dates cannot be guaranteed. Courier transit is estimated separately.
The Birth Certificate Base Service Fee is USD 349. Necessary third-party expenses are charged separately at actual cost. NABC cases are assessed separately: Price on consultation. The scope and total quotation are confirmed before work begins.

This policy applies to every service, in addition to its unchanged Base Service Fee, where an SDM or court-issued route, hearing, interview, personal or professional appearance, complex multi-authority coordination or work beyond the agreed Standard Scope is required. The case-specific additional fee is quoted and agreed before the additional work begins. Government, court, filing, travel, courier and other third-party expenses remain separate Actual Costs.

Actual Costs are charged based on the amount actually incurred and are itemised separately. Where formal receipts, invoices, payment confirmations, or other supporting records are issued or available, they may be provided. Where such documentation is not customarily issued, LexBridge8 will provide a reasonable written breakdown of the expense.
