About Our Services.

Can I get my India documents without traveling to India?

Yes. That is exactly what LexBridge is built for. We work with a licensed India-based Advocate who handles all in-person steps on your behalf, visiting the relevant authorities, submitting applications, following up, and retrieving the documents. You stay where you are.

We handle a wide range of civil, educational, and legal records including Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Death Certificates, Police Clearance Certificates (PCC), Degree Certificates, Academic Transcripts, NABC, Divorce Decrees, Name Change / Gazette Notifications, Address / Domicile Certificates, and Legal Heir Certificates. For documents not listed here, contact us and we will assess feasibility.
No. LexBridge is an administrative support and arrangement service. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation. Our India-based Advocate partner handles on-the-ground retrieval and field operations under the scope of document procurement not legal counsel.
India’s document procurement process often requires in-person authority liaison, institutional follow-ups, and handling of government offices tasks that benefit significantly from a legal professional’s credibility and access. Having a licensed Advocate on the ground means fewer delays, better outcomes, and someone with the standing to push back when authorities create obstacles.
Yes. We serve NRIs and Indians living abroad globally. Our service is available wherever you are the US, UK, Canada, UAE, Australia, Singapore, Japan, or elsewhere. All intake and communication is handled in English.

How It Works

What is the step-by-step process once I place an order?

Here is how a standard case works:

  1. You contact us and tell us which document(s) you need.
  2. We send you a quote: a Base Service Fee plus an estimated Actual Cost range.
  3. You confirm the quote and make your initial payment.
  4. We collect your required inputs identity documents, authorization letter, and any case-specific materials.
  5. Our India-based Advocate begins field operations: authority liaison, submission, follow-ups, retrieval, and quality verification.
  6. Once retrieved and verified, we notify you and collect any remaining balance.
  7. Your document is shipped via DHL with full tracking.

The SLA clock starts only after all inputs and initial payment are confirmed so there are no ambiguous start dates.

For most documents, you will need to provide a copy of your passport, a signed authorization letter (we send you the template), and any case-specific supporting materials such as parents’ names, date of birth, place of birth, or institutional details. We confirm the exact checklist for your document type before work begins.
For most standard documents, a signed Authorization Letter is sufficient. For certain complex or court-related documents, a more formal Power of Attorney may be required. We will tell you upfront if this applies to your case.

We provide structured progress updates at every key stage:
Case Opened → Submitted → Pending Authority → Retrieved → Verified → Dispatched → Delivered.

Where possible, we attach evidence — scanned copies, receipts, and tracking information.

Timelines

How long does it take to get an India document from abroad?

Most standard India document procurement cases are completed within 2 to 6 weeks from the date your case formally opens (i.e., after we have received all required inputs and your initial payment).

Timelines vary by document type, state, and issuing authority. Some records particularly older or unregistered ones can take longer. We give you an honest estimate upfront, not an optimistic one.

India’s document-issuing system varies significantly across states, municipalities, universities, and police jurisdictions. A birth certificate from a well-organized municipal office might be retrieved in two weeks; one from a rural panchayat with older records can take longer. We set the range honestly to reflect this reality. For time-sensitive situations, speak to us about priority handling.

In some cases, yes. Priority handling is available for select document types and jurisdictions where expedited processing is feasible. This is priced as an uplift to the Base Service Fee. Contact us before placing your order and we will advise honestly on what is achievable.
Your SLA clock starts only when four things are in place: all required documents and information have been submitted, identity verification is complete, the authorization letter or POA (if applicable) has been signed, and your initial payment has been received. This protects you from vague “we started working on it” timelines.

Pricing & Payment

How does LexBridge pricing work?

Every invoice has two parts. The Base Service Fee covers our operations, case management, and coordination, it is fixed upfront per document type. The Actual Cost covers real out-of-pocket expenses: government fees, institutional charges, field travel, courier, and similar costs. Actual Cost is billed at cost, with receipts provided wherever possible. You always know what you are paying and why.

Actual Cost covers third-party and government expenses that arise in the course of retrieving your document. These can include: government office fees, university or police institution charges, field travel and transportation, photo and copy charges, and DHL shipping to your address. It does not include our coordination work that is the Base Service Fee.

They can, and we are upfront about this. If any single Actual Cost item exceeds USD 130, or if the total Actual Cost is expected to exceed the original estimate by more than 20%, we will pause and seek your approval before proceeding. We do not incur large unexpected costs on your behalf without your sign-off.

We offer three payment structures. Option 1 (Milestone-based) splits payment across four stages: 25% at case opening, 25% before field mobilization, 40% at a mid-case progress milestone, and 10% before dispatch. Option 2 (Simplified) is 60% at case opening and 40% before dispatch. Option 3 is 100% upfront. Choose what suits you, we confirm the schedule in your quote. Note: your document is not dispatched until all outstanding amounts are settled.

We accept Wise (preferred), bank transfer, and PayPal. PayPal payments are subject to processing fees, which are borne by the client. All fees applicable to your payment method are stated clearly in your invoice.
Yes. If you need more than one document, bundle pricing applies: 5% off the Base Service Fee total for 2 documents, 8% off for 3 documents, and 12% off for 5 documents. Bundle discounts apply to the Base Service Fee only and Actual Cost remains pass-through at cost.
Once work has commenced, the Base Service Fee is non-refundable because operational time and case management costs have already been incurred. Actual Cost is refundable only for portions not yet spent. If you cancel before we begin, a full Base Service Fee refund is available minus any payment processing fees. In cases where material administrative negligence on our part is confirmed, we will address it on a case-by-case basis.
